Ahead of the Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary in just a few days, a themed hot air balloon has been making its way across the U.S.A., with a recent stop in San Francisco.
70th Anniversary Hot Air Balloon

Although Disneyland’s actual birthday is on July 17, a themed hot air balloon made its way to San Francisco to celebrate early. The balloon features the “70 Disneyland” anniversary logo and colors from the event. Apart from the large, diamond-shaped celebration logo, the balloon features a pattern of Mickey’s face in a similar art style to some of the decorations in the park.

A representative from ABC7 News was able to go out to experience the event. Gloria Rodríguez met Mickey and Minnie in their 70th garb and got a look inside the 75-foot-tall hot air balloon. Megan Roth, a representative from Disneyland Resort, told the channel that the balloon is handmade and could fit over 90,000 basketballs.

Goofy and Donald were also present at the celebration in their 70th anniversary outfits.
