The new construction permit was filed with Orange County on the afternoon of July 25, 2025. The address listed on the permit is 1960 Broadway, Lake Buena Vista. This is the address used for Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, per the Walt Disney World website. But, more specifically, this is the location of the Carriage House building which serves as the main lobby for the resort.

The permit specifically states the general description of improvement is “mechanical work” but provides no other details. The contracted company is Ferran Services & Contracting Inc., which is a company that provides heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing services.

There is currently no refurbishment or work announcement posted on the resort webpage, so the construction is likely more internal and may not interrupt guest stays.

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a Deluxe Villa Disney Vacation Club Resort inspired by historic Saratoga Springs—a late-1800s’ New York retreat famous for its spas and horse racing. The Victorian-style Resort hotel is nestled between golf course greens and Lake Buena Vista.

Over in Animal Kingdom, several other permits have recently been filed. One permit also filed on July 25 calls for mechanical work at the address of Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. Another new permit was filed over in Magic Kingdom for the demolition of Aunt Polly’s at Tom Sawyer Island.
