- A 25-year-old Rhode Island woman said she landed in the hospital with severe food allergies after Disney served her a contaminated salad at Be Our Guest restaurant in Magic Kingdom, according to a new lawsuit.
- As previously announced, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid is now temporarily closed for a brief refurbishment at Magic Kingdom.
- New themed posters full of references to the Disney Parks, particularly its Western-themed attractions and shows, as well as classic Disney films, have been added to the construction walls in Frontierland, near Rivers of America.
- The refurbishment of the Main Street, U.S.A. train station at Magic Kingdom is finally nearing an end.
