New souvenir novelties celebrating the release of Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps have been announced by Disney Eats for Disneyland Resort: The Thing Sipper and Mister Fantastic Straw Clip.
The Thing Sipper Announced for Disneyland Resort
Both new novelties were announced by Disney Eats via a post on Instagram.
The Clobberin’ Sipper (also described as The Thing Sipper by Disney Eats) is modeled to look like The Thing’s fist with a Fantastic Four communicator on his wrist. The attached (and removable) carry strap is light blue and features mid-century design accents and the “4” icon.
The sipper has “double opening action,” meaning that you can lift up a smaller top panel to access the straw only, or open up the entire top portion of the fist to access the drink compartment for refills.
Mister Fantastic Straw Clip
Also unveiled was the Mister Fantastic Straw Clip, which features Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards stretching around a blue straw.
According to Disney Eats, The Thing Sipper is “now available” in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park. However, when checking menus on the Disneyland Resort mobile app, both the sipper and Mister Fantastic Straw clip are listed as “available starting July 24.” Both items will also be available from the following locations:
- Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park
- Alien Pizza Planet in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park
- Pym Test Kitchen in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure
The sipper is priced at $29.79 and the straw clip is $13.59. Both are limited to two (2) per person, per transaction, and discounts are not applicable.
Announced earlier this year, guests will also get to meet Marvel’s first family at Disneyland Park in Tomorrowland. Dates for this offering have not yet been announced.
