Frontierland Sign Returns to Magic Kingdom 2 Years After Removal

The Frontierland sign has returned to the Disney Vacation Club kiosk at Magic Kingdom, about two years after it was removed.

The sign hangs in a wooden archway outside the DVC kiosk. It has been missing since the summer of 2023. You can see the kiosk without the sign in our farewell to Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade, which closed permanently on June 23, 2024. The shooting arcade was replaced by McKim’s Mile House, a DVC member lounge.

The sign was either remade or thoroughly refurbished. It resembles two planks of wood fastened together with steel elements. “Frontierland” is carved into the wood and painted red. This is approximately the same design that it had before, but it’s no longer weathered and rusted.

There is no lettering on the back of the sign.

The other Frontierland entrance sign near Adventureland was also refurbished earlier this year, but it was only missing for three months.
