The Mexico pavilion in EPCOT is slowly getting new themed pavement. The newest patch is on the walkway leading to the Norway pavilion.
Mexico Pavilion Pavement

A large patch of the mottled orange-brown pavement is in front of the space where Mariachi Cobre and Marimba de las Américas perform. Across from the new pavement is the area between the two pavilions that has been blocked by construction walls for several weeks.

Like the themed concrete installed on the other side of the Mexico pavilion in April, this patch is made to look like a dirt path. It has artificial lines and dents. The coloring is purposefully inconsistent.

The themed concrete replaces the reddish-pink flat pavement present throughout World Showcase. Though not as flat as the old pavement, the new concrete is still relatively smooth, so strollers and wheelchairs won’t have difficulty.

There is a light concrete border around the new pavement. This is temporary until installation of new pavement is complete in the area. There is scoring — cuts — in a lot of the old pavement, indicating it will be removed soon.

The queue area for the Donald Duck meet and greet got new pavement recently. The meet and greet was temporarily closed during construction.
Last fall, Disney replaced Adventureland’s walkways in Magic Kingdom with themed pavement.
