This new ornament is a celebration of the 40th anniversary of The Black Cauldron. Figures of Taran, Princess Eilonwy, and Gurgi are displayed inside a transparent globe.

A hand holds a glass ornament featuring three fantasy characters, one with a sword, inside a dome.

Taran stands in the front with his sword out while Gurgi holds onto his right leg. The characters stand on a brown floor dotted with green “leaves.”

The globe sits on a base with a weathered, metallic finish. Its design is inspired by the titular black cauldron with clawed feet and a face on the front. On the bottom of the cauldron is a shield-shaped The Black Cauldron 40 years logo.

Printed on the back of the globe is the film’s wordmark written in black.

40th Anniversary

A “Celebrating 40 Years” medallion is attached to a loop at the top of the globe. A golden satin ribbon is clipped onto the medallion.

We found the ornament at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom, but it is likely available at other holiday retail locations throughout Walt Disney World.

A limited edition The Black Cauldron 40th anniversary pin was released earlier this month.
