The EPCOT bus stop expansion seems to be nearing completion as crews install final paneling and work on lighting.

Structural work began on the expansion in May. The new overhang is at the end of stations 1-2, where buses leading to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort stop. These are the stations closest to the parking lot and furthest from the park.

The new overhang is almost completely covered in final paneling. A few tiles are still missing from the ceiling. Many of the ceiling tiles also still have protective blue and pink plastic sheets on them.

Blue and pink construction coverings hang from a ceiling near windows, with trees and sky visible outside.

The columns in the expanded station have not been covered with paneling. Some of them have cords and pipes running up them. One in this picture has horizontal poles to support banners — similar to the poles at the nearby stop.

A few overhead lights have been installed. Crew members appeared to be doing electrical work in the ceiling when we visited the park on Tuesday. The ceiling tiles are white, not dark blue like the adjacent bus stop, so they may be painted after the rest of the work is complete.

We don’t yet know what resorts may pick up at this new bus station. Stay tuned for more updates.
