Ahoy there! A new Pirates of the Caribbean Peg-Leg Pete shoulder plush has flown into stock online from the Disney Store.

Peg-Leg Pete Shoulder Plush – $24.99

A green plush parrot toy dressed as a pirate, with an eye patch and hat, next to a round green mat.

This magnetic shoulder plush is inspired by Peg-Leg Pete, also known as the Barker Bird, who was once stationed outside of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Magic Kingdom.

The fluffy plush is covered in green “feathers” (fur), with details like a pirate hat, eye patch, a wooden leg, and an embroidered “tattoo” of an anchor on his chest.

The plush can be worn on the shoulder via the included magnetic fabric disc, which goes under your shirt sleeve while the plush sits on top. The plush is 5 1/2 inches tall.

This shoulder plush was first made for Disney Cruise Line, as seen above with our own Pirate Oath following a transformation.

Later this year, a new barker bird will debut alongside the new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern in Magic Kingdom, The Beak and Barrel. Named Rummy, this parrot is the first mate of Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn, who owns the new establishment in its storyline.

A cozy, warmly lit pub reminiscent of Disney Parks magic, with patrons enjoying drinks at tables. Chandeliers and lamps illuminate the scene like a fairytale setting, while paintings adorn the walls. A waiter stands near the center, tending to guests in this enchanting ambience of 2025.

Disney previously updated its website to state that the venue would be open for dining on select nights from August through October 2025, during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but quickly removed this and details about booking reservations. No new booking details or opening date have been announced for The Beak and Barrel since then.

A Peg-Leg Pete open edition trading pin was also released at Walt Disney World earlier this year.
