Magic Kingdom
- An update to the My Disney Experience app is letting guests know that today, July 6, is the last day to experience both the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island before they permanently close.
- Cast Members are now preparing for the final night of operation for the Liberty Square Riverboat by handing out wristbands to guests.
- Tom Sawyer Island has now permanently closed at the Magic Kingdom.
- The Liberty Square Riverboat, along with the Rivers of America, has closed permanently at the Magic Kingdom.
- The Liberty Square Riverboat made its final journey on Sunday, July 6, 2025, and WDWNT was onboard for the last trip around the Rivers of America.
New Merchandise
- Nothing can stop guests from purchasing these new and returning Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway designs now available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- A few new jewelry items, including some by designer Rebecca Hook, have arrived at Magic Kingdom.
- Several new Droid Depot-branded pins are now available at Walt Disney World, including DJ R3X, R2-D2, some BDX droids, and more.
- A new Soarin’ Around the World Pin is now available at Walt Disney World.
