UPDATE: All DVC Members Can Preview Test Track in EPCOT Without Hotel Reservation

In a recent update, Disney is now allowing all current Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Members the opportunity to experience the recently-updated Test Track without making a hotel reservation.

As we previously reported, Disney announced that DVC Members would have the opportunity to experience the recently-reimagined Test Track prior to its official opening on July 22. As the time of the initial announcement, DVC Members who wanted to ride Test Track were required to have a qualifying Disney Resort hotel reservation booked prior to July 6, 2025, use their eligible membership to book the stay, and be staying at the resort on the preview date.

Registration to take part in the Test Track preview opened on July 8, with the actual preview date set for today, July 12.

However, it appears this policy has now changed, according to a recent notification from Disney. Guests have reported getting a notification today on the My Disney Experience app saying that all DVC Members can take part in the Test Track preview. The notification was sent to all DVC Members, regardless of whether they have a hotel reservation or not. Some members with home addresses near Walt Disney World also reported receiving emails about the policy change, inviting them to register for a preview time.

Even with the change, the preview times are still grouped to specific hours throughout the day, as was the case during the original registration period. Each eligible Member is allowed to bring up to four additional guests per membership to ride the attraction.

Cast Members already had a preview period to experience Test track earlier this month, and annual passholder previews will be held from July 13-19, excluding July 17. Virtual queue enrollment will be available at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on each preview day, but there will be no preview standby line. Test track also unexpectedly soft opened to more guests on July 11, though Disney did not make any announcements at the time.
