In addition to updating the map for Magic Kingdom on My Disney Experience, Walt Disney World has also released a new guidemap for the park that no longer features the recently shuttered Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island, and the Liberty Square Riverboat.
New Magic Kingdom Guidemap
The cover of the map features a young girl dressed in a Tiana dress, holding a bubble wand as she stands in front of Cinderella Castle.
Inside the first fold under “Fantasy Reigns” is an advertisement for the “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” parade, which debuts on July 20. Other park offerings featured include Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, TRON Lightcycle / Run, “Happily Ever After” fireworks,” the Emporium, and Liberty Tree Tavern.
This section also includes a breakdown of the My Disney Experience mobile app.
The full map for the park has also been updated following the closure of Tom Sawyer Island, the Rivers of America, and the Liberty Square Riverboat.
A closer look at the map shows that trees now take up the space where the former attractions were located. This map also illustrates the new, modified “shuttle mode” for the Walt Disney World Railroad, which begins today, July 7. This mode of operation will run until the Disney Villains land opens at the park.
Tom Sawyer Island, Rivers of America, and the Liberty Square Riverboat have all been removed from the list of attractions shown to the right of the map, as well.
As always, the back panels of the guidemap include details about Guest Services, transportation, park rules, payment options, and Disney Vacation Club.
The Rivers of America, Liberty Square Riverboat, and Tom Sawyer Island welcomed their final guests yesterday, July 6, 2025. The areas have closed to make way for Piston Peak National Park, a new “Cars” themed area.
