The show includes fireworks, patriotic music, and projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A.

The fireworks display debuted in 2008 at both Disneyland Park in California and Magic Kingdom in Florida, but the shows are not identical.

Interestingly, some of the preparations for the busy Fourth of July crowds were lighter this year than in the past. To help control crowd flow, Disneyland Park set up some temporary walls and planters along guest walkways, but the number of these was reduced from previous years. Cast Members also confirmed that Mickey did not meet guests at Disneyland Park wearing his Uncle Sam-style stars-and-stripes tuxedo this year.

Walt Disney World also celebrated the Fourth of July 2025 with fireworks at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT (but not Disney Springs).
