Seasonal Baymax Macaron – $8.29
filled with ube cream and salted caramel chocolate crunch pearls
This is a depiction of Baymax in his bright red armor, with the ube filling acting as the armor’s purple sections. As cute as it is, we didn’t enjoy it.
It tasted like sugar, chemicals, and red dye. The ube cream is medicinal in flavor. The cookies had a good texture — crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside — but a terrible flavor. The salted caramel with chocolate crunch pearls is the best part, but there’s not enough to outweigh the rest.
For almost $9, this is a hard pass. There are much better desserts and macarons in the park. It only gets points for its appearance.
