Following the technical errors that occurred last week, reservations for The Beak & Barrel at Magic Kingdom are now scheduled to officially open tonight, August 20, 2025.
Beak & Barrel Disney Reservations

The reservations for The Beak & Barrel, also known as the Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern coming soon to Magic Kingdom, were originally supposed to open for booking on August 14. However, guests attempting to book reservations quickly started experiencing technical issues, including error pages and more glitches. Once the system was finally restored, The Beak and Barrel still had no reservation times listed. Disney later announced that due to the issues, the reservation opening date had been postponed.
Disney later confirmed a new date and time for the reservations opening to guests. The Beak and Barrel will now be available to book on both the Walt Disney World website and the My Disney Experience app starting on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. ET.
The Beak & Barrel Opening Date

The Beak and Barrel is officially set to open on Friday, August 29, 2025.
The tavern will be taking over the location formerly occupied by The Pirates League. The bar introduces two original characters: Rummy, inspired by the attraction’s original Barker Bird, and Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn, the bar’s proprietor. The main room is called The Mess, though there will be a second area called the Captain’s Quarters that will be decorated with miniature bottled ships that come to life and engage in battle.
The beak & Barrel will have a 45-minute limit for guests, like Oga’s Cantina at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. See the full menu for The Beak and Barrel prior to your reservation.
