BREAKING: First Look at Conan O'Brien's Smarty Pants Character in Toy Story 5

We have our first look at the character “Smarty Pants” who will be voiced by Conan O’Brien in the upcoming film, Toy Story 5.

“Smarty Pants” is a potty training toy, shaped like a toilet paper roll with large eyes and a small mouth.

After hearing exclusive story details, Pixar surprised the elated crowd at Destination D23 by screening the film’s opening three minutes. In Toy Story 5, the toys are back and this time it’s Toy meets Tech. Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they’re introduced to what kids are obsessed with today…electronics! Toy Story 5 is directed by Andrew Stanton, co-directed by Kenna Harris and produced by Jessica Choi.

The film hits theaters on June 19, 2026.

This announcement was made at the Walt Disney Studios Showcase today at the Destination D23 Event, taking place at Walt Disney World Resort.
