BREAKING: Halloween Horror Nights Introduces Deathly Afraid Necklace Upcharge for Event Guests Who Don’t Want Scares

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort will introduce the new Deathly Afraid necklace for guests who want a less intense scare experience.

A florist stand in an HHN scare zone, covered in flowers and green slime, sits outside a pink city building.

The necklace will be available for purchase for $20 plus tax during Halloween Horror Nights. Wearing the necklace will reduce direct interactions with scareactors in common areas and scare zones — not haunted houses. Guests who want fewer scares must wear the necklace and it does not guarantee a completely scare-free experience.
