BREAKING: Noche de Brujas Latin American Witches Scare Zone Announced for Halloween Horror Nights

Universal Studios Hollywood is back for another surprise scare zone announcement called Noche de Brujas, which translates to Night of the Witches.

Noche de Brujas Scare Zone

A creepy, monstrous witch looms above "Noche de Brujas," inspired by Latin American Witches on a dark background for Halloween Horror Nights 2025.

This latest announcement was shared via the Halloween Horror Nights Instagram account. The post includes the first art and information about Noche de Brujas, which is a new scare zone being added to Universal Studios Hollywood for Halloween Horror Nights 2025.

The art depicts a witch with long hair, pointed teeth, and a somewhat skeletal appearance reaching out from a red frame. The frame has the number 25 in the upper left hand corner, likely as a reference to 2025. The description included with the announcement describes the new zone:

Scare Zone Announcement: Evil, cackling witches from Latin American legends will hunt you and ensnare you with dark enchantments. It’s the night of the witches!

Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America

Three terrifying Latin American monsters haunt the dark Monstruos 3 poster at Universal Studios Hollywood.

This scare zone appears related in theme to the Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America original haunted house, which was announced for HHN 2025 last month. This is the third in the Monstruos series, following the first Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America house in 2023 and its sequel, The Nightmares of Latin America, in 2024.

Each house in this series has featured a trio of monsters. The original house included La Lechuza, Tlahuelpuchi, and El Silbón. Monstruos 2 featured El Charro, El Cadejo, and El Cucuy. This third installation will include La Llorona, La Muelona, and La Siguanaba. Read the full description of Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America below:

One wails. One bites. One beguiles. La Llorona, La Muelona, and La Siguanaba await in the dark. Three legends La Muerte wants you to meet, but you’ll wish you never did.

Among the many new reveals, they also confirmed both Five Nights at Freddy’s houses will include a fully-sized animatronic version of Freddy Fazbear that creative director John Murdy called “the most complicated animatronic figure that [they’ve] ever done.”
