Coordinator Cast Member Costumes Have Changed at Disney World

Some of the Coordinator Cast Members at Walt Disney World have begun rolling out new costumes made of recycled materials.

We spotted Cast Members sporting their new outfits at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, though we expect all Coordinator Cast Members to be wearing the updated costumes within the next few weeks. A Coordinator is a Cast Member who can assist in multiple positions, and the role is often broken down into subcategories like Attractions Coordinator, Food Services Coordinator, Recreation Coordinator, or Administrative Coordinator.

The updated costumes include a blue shirt with white stripes and a matching white pointed collar. The shirt is paired with gray pants or shorts. One of the Cast Members also confirmed with us that these outfits are made using recycled materials, just like many of the updated costumes debuting at Walt Disney World over the past few years.

For comparison, above is an image showing the previous outfit for a Recreation Coordinator. However, this is only one example. In past years, Coordinators who worked in different business lines, such as recreation or attractions, would usually have different costumes. However, as of this new update, the same blue costumes are expected to be worn by all Coordinators regardless of their exact position.

Walt Disney World has recently been updating many of the costumes worn by Cast Members, often making them more comfortable with updated fabrics, more environmental with recycled materials, and modernizing some of the color schemes.

All Custodial Cast Members received updated costumes earlier this summer, and Disney recently confirmed the Cast Members working near Pirates of the Caribbean will also be donning new outfits in the near future. Other costume updates have included parking lot attendants, the Voices of Liberty performers, and World Nature Cast Members at EPCOT.
