TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom has a buildup of dirt and rust at the entrance. With a significant amount of TRON Lightcycle Run canopy dirt showing, it may be time for another deep clean of the attraction.
TRON Lightcycle Run Canopy Dirt

TRON Lightcycle / Run opened in March 2023. Two and a half years later, the attraction is showing signs of needing a major cleaning.
The TRON Lightcycle Run canopy dirt can be seen all over the structure that covers the outdoor portion of the roller coaster track, as well as the walkway leading up to the queue.

It’s difficult to identify what exactly the buildup is made of when standing several feet away. It is possible that this is just a significant amount of dirt due to being exposed to the Florida elements.
TRON Lightcycle / Run’s Rusty Entrance Sign

The large attraction sign located at the attraction’s entrance is dirty as well. The white wall that surrounds the sign shows signs of dirt, grime, and rust. While the canopy would be a much larger undertaking to clean, the entrance sign would be relatively easier to maintain.
Past Issues

In late 2023, TRON showed an extensive dirt buildup on the canopy beams and other areas of the attraction’s exterior. Six months later, Disney got it all cleaned up.
For comparison, current dirt buildup doesn’t look quite as extensive as it did back in 2023. This is all normal, as outdoor attractions will get dirty. However, due to the nature of the large white canopy, it’s more obvious on this particular attraction.
TRON

TRON Lightcycle / Run was announced for Magic Kingdom at D23 Expo in 2017, and it officially opened in 2023.
This ride a clone of the Shanghai Disneyland attraction that opened alongside that park on June 16, 2016. The Shanghai Disneyland roller coaster was installed in lieu of a version of Space Mountain. At Magic Kingdom, the attraction was installed directly next to Space Mountain.
