Things were a little quieter on the Halloween Horror Nights front at Universal Studios Florida this afternoon, with the exception of a couple updates, including food booths themed to Fallout and WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks.

HHN Food Booths Arrive

Down Park Ave., beside Gramercy park, two themed food booths have arrived. This section of the street typically hosts two booths, so this follows the norm. In the past, booths have been installed mostly blank and theming added later. However, these two debuted with decor, leaving no doubt to their inspiration. Following the recent trend, it appears we will be getting booths themed to each house.

Between the booths are planters, likely holding places for cash register setups.

WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks Food Booth

On the right is a blue booth with white clouds meant to evoke Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Funhouse, a faux show reminiscent of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. After Bray Wyatt’s passing in 2023, his brother Bo Dallas returned to the WWE as Uncle Howdy, and the other five members of the Wyatt Sicks are characters from Firefly Funhouse.

The vines crawling over the booth are unrelated to the Wyatt Sicks, but help tie the various booths into the event’s overarching theme. This year, the event is taking place within The Conservatory, and those aesthetics will carry on in the various aspects. We’re set to see a lot of vines, gargoyles, stonework, stained glass, and other Gothic-style decor.

Fallout Food Booth

To the left is a booth themed to Fallout, which is one of the properties featured in a house this year at Halloween Horror Nights. The house (and booth) are themed to the Amazon Prime show, which was inspired by the video game series.

The booth has the industrial look of the vaults, and to the side is the open door to Vault 33, which main character Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) hailed from.

Menus will likely be announced closer to the event’s start date of August 29, but past offerings have been themed to their properties as well. Some fans hope to see Nuka Cola come to the Fallout booth, but for now, we’ll have to wait and see.

Mutations: Toxic Twenties Scare Zone

The only other large update is nearby in the scare zone occupying New York. This year, the area plays host to Mutations: Toxic Twenties. Theming began arriving earlier this week, and now more decor related to the backstory has arrived.

At the crash site, Buzzcon barrels have been loaded into the truck.

A dimly lit metal barrel with the number 22 and some indistinct writing is illuminated by green light in a dark environment.

Based on the articles displayed at the Newsstand, the mutations began when a car crashed into a truck carrying Buzzcon chemicals. Buzzcon has had a presence at Halloween Horror Nights twice before. It first debuted at HHN 32’s Bugs: Eaten Alive house, in which Buzzcon’s Exterminair chemical caused insects to grow to immense sizes and terrorize households in the 1950s. Last year, in Slaughter Sinema 2, Buzzcon chemicals were revealed to be behind the Night of the Undead Clowns.

The plain black car near the entrance to Revenge of the Mummy is now made up as an era-appropriate police car, likely responding to the nearby crash.
