Plush Hats of Famous Fowl Orange Bird and Hei Hei Arrive at Walt Disney World

Two new plush hats have arrived at Walt Disney World. Both are themed to fan-favorite fowl: the Orange Bird and Hei Hei. We found both at Disney Ever After in Disney Springs.

Orange Bird Plush Hat – $34.99

A hand holds an orange bird hat shaped like a bird with big eyes and a green leaf on top.

Inspired by the beloved Sunshine Tree Terrace mascot at Magic Kingdom, this Orange Bird plush hat features detailed sculpting, embroidered features, and a 3D beak. Two green leaves stick up from the top. The chin strap is made from a soft, self-stick fabric for a comfy fit. The hat is one size fits all.

Also available online and at Walt Disney World is a collared sweatshirt inspired by Orange Bird and a new Orange Bird ear headband that matches the previously-released Loungefly mini backpack.

Hei Hei Plush Hat – $34.99

Moana’s stowaway rooster is the focus of the second new plush hat. The plush hat features soft sculpting and more embroidered features. It has a 3D beak, plume, and feathers. Hei Hei’s eyes also appear to be bulging out of his head.

The 3D details continue around the back, with his feathers sticking out from the “body” of the hat. The chin strap is made from a soft self-stick fabric. Like Orange Bird, the hat is one size fits all.

Earlier this year, a viral Hei Hei Loungefly sold out quickly after being released at Disney Springs.

A Figment version of the plush hat has been flying around Walt Disney World since 2023. Winnie the Pooh and Tigger versions are available online at the Disney Store as well.
