It’s another day, which means there’s another round of Halloween Horror Nights updates at Universal Studios Florida. From the Cat Lady’s cauldron to the Terrifier’s Clown Cafe, let’s take a look at today’s changes.
Halloween Horror Nights 34 Updates
Scare Zone Updates
Cat Lady of Crooked Lane (Central Park)

It’s quiet on the scare zone front, but the Cat Lady has been busy at home getting ready for the holiday.

A large hanging cauldron is on the porch, and jack-o’-lanterns beckon in trick-or-treaters.

Some of them seem to have left behind their personal items, though. Hope nothing happened to them! There’s a strange amount of gasoline containers, children’s toys, golf clubs, and more.
Masquerade: Dance with Death (Hollywood)

At the front of the park in Hollywood, foliage is growing over the stages and gates for Masquerade: Dance with Death.

One of the four stages is teeming with overgrowth.

This stage is light on the flora, probably to keep all attention on whatever poor, unfortunate soul is under that tarp.

Likewise, the attention here is on what will likely be a cascading fountain of blood for the local vampire horde.

The vines, moss, and other plant life are part of the overarching Conservatory theme for the event, which draws inspiration from classic Gothic-style designs.
Food Booths
Terrifier Clown Cafe

The Clown Cafe is at the edge of Gramercy Park, facing the Transformers extended queue. Like the rest of the park, it’s also covered in vines. No matter what they serve here, we’re a little hesitant to take food from Art.
Clown Face Booth

Next to the Clown Cafe is a booth reminiscent of the Terrifier Funhouse entrance, but it’s not a replica. We still suspect this will be themed to the franchise.
WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks Firefly Fun House

Over on Park Avenue, the food booth for WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks has received its Firefly Fun House marquee. The booth is meant to resemble the faux show used as part of the gimmick for Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Sicks. Featured on the marquee are Mercy the Buzzard, Abby the Witch, and Ramblin’ Rabbit.
Cabin Booth

I’m not going to lie, this one is throwing me off a bit. It could be Jason Un1v3rse, it could be Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters, or it could be Gálkn: Monsters of the North. The cabin is a little too vague right now to tell, so hopefully, we see more theming arrive.
Gothic Booth

Alright, this one stumped me, too. When I was first checking it out, I thought perhaps it was El Artista: A Spanish Haunting, but the style of the roof doesn’t really match the art we have. It could be the Victorian Dollhouse from Dolls: Let’s Play Dead. But hey, it’s HHN! Speculation is half the fun. Let me know what you think these two booths are on our social channels!
Dead Coconut Club

Up on the second level of CityWalk, strange things are afoot at the Red Coconut Club. It appears to be undergoing a transmutation of a horrific nature (okay, enough hyperbole). Work has begun outside the club for its seasonal overlay into the Dead Coconut Club.

A notice on the door notes that the club has been closed from July 27 and will remain closed for construction until August 29, meaning the club may open on the same night that HHN begins. In the past, there have been Team Member and Annual Passholder previews, but nothing has been announced at this time.

Not much is actually afoot (yet) other than some barricades and large branches.
Bonus: New Five Nights at Freddy’s Merchandise
Dream Theory Journal – $25

The only new merchandise item today was a Five Nights at Freddy’s notebook. It’s a subtle design for fans of the movie, designed to look like Mike’s Dream Theory book.

The only FNAF branding is on the bottom corner of the lined pages inside.
That wraps up our update for today. We’ll continue checking in around the park, and we’ll see you in the fog!
