National Roller Coaster Day is celebrated annually on August 16. The video with Fozzie was shared via a Reel on the official Disney Parks Instagram account. Hopefully, the jokes don’t throw you for a loop! (Get it?)

Fozzie then goes on to tell three roller coaster-themed jokes as he stands under the arched entrance to the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster plaza. Watch the video below:

The Muppets are set to take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, currently starring Aerosmith, following this summer’s permanent closure of MuppetVision 3D and PizzeRizzo to make way for a new Monsters Inc. land.

Details on the retheme of the iconic coaster are sparse, save for an attraction poster released late last year (seen above), and the news that The Muppets will also take over the attraction’s gift shop, currently named Rock Around the Shop.

No closing date for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in its current state has been announced, nor an opening timeframe for its reimagining with The Muppets. As for Monstropolis, demolition is already underway. The new land will include the Monsters Inc. door coaster, featuring Disney’s first-ever vertical lift.

Are you excited to eventually experience a Muppets retheme of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster? Or will you be sad to see Aerosmith take a final ride in the super-stretch? Let us know in the comments and on social media.
