Following a month of hanging in Magic Kingdom — after it was missing for almost two years — the sign marking the entrance to Frontierland from Liberty Square has once again disappeared.
Frontierland Sign Removed

The missing sign used to hang from these wooden posts next to the Disney Vacation Club kiosk in Frontierland. It was used to mark the approximate entrance to the land from Liberty Square. Now the only thing hanging from the post is an autumnal garland, which is one of the brand-new fall decorations in Frontierland.

The removal is strange because the sign was re-installed just last month after being missing for two years. It was originally removed in the summer of 2023 and later returned either remade or refurbished. We don’t know why the same sign has been removed again so soon.
For reference, below is what the sign looked like following its return.
The DVC kiosk is located outside McKim’s Mile House, a DVC member lounge, which opened in March. It replaced the opening-day attraction Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade, which closed permanently in June 2024.
The Adventureland/Frontierland sign at the opposite end of the land was refurbished and returned earlier this year. The main Adventureland sign was removed a few weeks ago to coincide with a refurbishment of the entire entry structure.
