Universal announced the theme for this year’s Dead Coconut Club, the Halloween Horror Nights overlay of Red Coconut Club in Universal CityWalk.

An SFX Magazine article about Halloween Horror Nights 34 confirmed the nightclub will be “themed around a witches coven”.
During a recent check on the club, we noticed several large barren tree branches on the ground outside.
Dead Coconut Club (assuming it goes by its usual Halloween name) is scheduled to open on Friday, August 29, the same day Halloween Horror Nights 34 begins. The club will then open on Wednesdays through Sundays until the end of HHN on November 2.
Last year’s Dead Coconut Club had a vampire theme, including real props from previous Vamp scare zones.
After HHN, the club will become the holiday Green & Red Coconut Club.
