Halloween Horror Nights 34 portals have begun appearing, and more merchandise is available at Universal Studios Florida ahead of the event’s start later this month.

Halloween Horror Nights 34 Portals Installed

A black curtain on a metal frame stands on a sidewalk near a Minion Mayhem attraction at a theme park.

The “portals” are near the entrances to the haunted houses, and will eventually display the house signage, wait times, and safety warnings.

The above portal, installed across from Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, is currently empty. The portals are steel frames covered with black curtains, which are drawn over the house signs during the day.

A large black screen stands on a sidewalk near a curb, with trees and buildings in the background.

Near Fast & Furious: Supercharged, another portal has gone vertical. This one appears to be almost ready to go, with the screen overhead that will display the wait time for the house in this area.

A large black-covered object stands in front of curved white and mint green walls near trimmed bushes on a sunny day.

At Men In Black: Alien Attack, another portal is stationed and appears complete. The warning signage is in place beneath the curtain, along with the wait time screen above.

A black curtain covers a tall frame on a city sidewalk near a red arch and green planter on a sunny day.

At Battery Park, a directional sign has been put in place. It shares a similar look to the portals, and is covered with black curtains during the day.

Just outside The Simpsons Ride, another portal has been stationed. While this one has its wait time screen overhead, it doesn’t look like the signage behind the curtain has been installed.

The last portal we spotted on our visit to Universal Studios Florida today was at Music Plaza. The trusses that hold up the screen and curtains are set up next to the A/V booth for the Music Plaza Stage.

Halloween Horror Nights Merchandise

Original Houses T-Shirt – $33

Black t-shirt featuring a colorful, illustrated group of creepy folklore monsters from Halloween Horror Nights.

This black T-shirt features creatures representing each original house at HHN 34. They are presented against a smoky, cloudy background with stone archways. A gargoyle is at the bottom, representing this year’s event-wide theme of The Conservatory.

The monster at the top of the artwork with antlers and bloody hands appears to be from Gálkn: Monsters of the North. The old man with glowing red eyes appears to be from Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters. The red deformed zombie on the left represents Grave of Flesh. The little girl with a severed doll’s head represents Dolls: Let’s Play Dead, of course. And the demon wearing a man’s face is from El Artista: A Spanish Haunting.

On the back of the shirt in red lettering is “Deathly Original” with blood-like splatter, and the HHN 2025 logo.

Fallout Radroach Meal – $12

A box labeled "Radroach Meal" with a cockroach diagram—solid milk chocolate for Halloween Horror Nights fans.

This Fallout-inspired snack is a cockroach-shaped milk chocolate bar. It comes in packaging featuring a diagram of a roach.

The Fallout logo is on the side, and nutrition facts are on the back. “The only good radroach is a cooked roach,” says a tagline.

Fallout Sugar Bombs Breakfast Cereal – $12

Box of Sugar Bombs cereal with a bowl on the front, displayed at Universal Orlando during Halloween Horror Nights.

Unfortunately not actually cereal, this second Fallout treat is mini vanilla cookies.

These snacks are directly inspired by items seen in the Fallout games and TV series.

Fallout Yum Yum Brand Gummy Eggs – $7

A blue box labeled "Yum Yum Brand Gummy Eggs" with a "NEW!" banner, spotted among Universal Orlando merch.

Lastly are gummy eggs. These are actually gummy candy.

The box doesn’t display an image of the treats, but we would hope they’re egg-shaped.

Terrifier Cotton Candy – $7

A hand holds cherry clown cafe cotton candy with a clown label at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights store display.

This pink cotton candy has labels featuring Art the Clown from Terrifier. It’s cherry cotton candy with popping candies included.

Art is on the side label and on the top of the tub with the Clown Cafe sign.

Hello Kitty Witch Tower – $199

Hello Kitty Halloween witch tower kit box with spooky decor, inspired by Universal Orlando House Entrance Portals, in-store.

Though not directly related to HHN, this diorama set is based on Halloween. It includes a “witch tower” — a purple tower with a large witch hat on top, an orange door, and spiderweb details. On the base with the house is a black cat, a Hello Kitty cauldron, and a Jack-o’-Lantern.

Halloween Horror Nights decor: witch hat house, spooky tree, pumpkins, and purple—perfect for Universal Orlando fans.

Also included is a spooky Halloween tree with ghosts and an owl, plus a figure of Hello Kitty herself as a witch flying on a broomstick.

Halloween Horror Nights 34 kicks off with Premium Scream Night (which sold out for the first time this year) on August 28, with its official opening night on August 29. The annual haunt event will run on select nights through November 2, and tickets are available now.
