Oh, right. The water park. The water park for Kuzco. The water park chosen especially to celebrate Kuzco, Kuzco’s water park.
As part of Destination D23 this weekend, ticket holders were able to attend a special, after-hours event at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park.
D23 Kuzcotopia Night at Typhoon Lagoon

Boom, baby! All Destination D23 2025 ticket holders were invited to celebrate 25 years of Disney Animation’s The Emperor’s New Groove with a splash at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park.
Following the day’s presentations, guests attended this after-hours exclusive celebration that included special tributes to Disney’s water parks. D23 Gold Members were treated to complimentary snacks, photo opportunities, special activities, and exclusive entertainment.

Among the character interactions was Kuzco himself. He treated guests to a dance on stage near the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool during his set.

Yzma and Kronk also took turns strutting around the stage. There were also some more unique characters roaming throughout the event, such as a Junior Woodchuck, Yzma’s fashion designer, a representative from the Kuzco Gazette, and Kronk’s mentee.

Minnie, Donald, and Mickey Mouse were also meeting and greeting guests at various locations throughout the event.

Kuzcotopia was a one-night-only special event offered during Destination D23 at Walt Disney World. Sponsored by Lug, this year’s subtitle is “A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney.”
Yesterday, we were treated to several announcements involving Disney Parks and Experiences. Most notably, Walt Disney World’s Carousel of Progress is getting an update including a new audio animatronic version of Walt Disney. Disney also announced that an overlay inspired by the upcoming film, TRON: Ares, is coming to TRON Lightcycle Run at both Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World and Shanghai Disneyland.
Several other announcements were made, and we expect even more to come. Stay tuned to WDWNT for coverage of the Destination D23 event.
