The now-parked Red Car Trolley is currently being used as a Mars Wrigley Halloween Candy ad at Disney California Adventure ahead of the kickoff for Oogie Boogie Bash.

After it was permanently stationed near the front of Disney California Adventure for photo ops, the Red Car Trolley received clear panes in each of its windows. Now, orange Halloween-themed decals have been added to four of those windows.

One of the center window panes features a black and orange ad for Mars Wrigley candy, the candy sponsor of Oogie Boogie Bash. The ad covers the entire pane and features a black tombstone with “The trick-or-treater’s best!” written in white and “Mars Wrigley” printed below. Several stars and bats are scattered around the background of the image.

The other windows showcase orange cut-outs of trick-or-treaters holding bags or Jack-o’-Lantern buckets full of candy. One appears to be dressed like a devil, and the other is a witch.

During Oogie Boogie Bash, guests travel down Treat Trails and receive candy. It is possible these window treatments have some tie-in with the Halloween event.

Only four of the windows are covered, so this could be an in-progress addition to the Red Car Trolley as the park prepares for Oogie Boogie Bash, which begins tomorrow, August 17.

The Red Car Trolley officially stopped running at Disney California Adventure on February 8, 2025, due to the planned expansion of Avengers Campus. The project will double the land’s footprint but involves taking over the area housing the barn where the trolleys were stored.
