At the What’s Cooking with Disney Eats panel at the Destination D23 event, a replacement was announced for Tahitian Terrace at Hong Kong Disneyland.

According to Disney Parks on X, the replacement will be a Moana-inspired restaurant. No other details have been shared yet, other than the new restaurant is expected to open on September 12, 2025.

The art shared at the panel, and later online, shows Moana dressed in her outfit from the second film and meeting guests in front of the restaurant. The location has a new purple sign saying “Wayfinders’ Table,” which is the venue’s name as confirmed by Hong Kong Disneyland Managing Director Michael E. Moriarty on Instagram.

Additional characters such as the Kakamora, Pua, and Hei Hei are standing on top of rock displays inside the nearby planters. On the left side, near the guest walking path, a second sign also says “Wayfinders’ Table” with an example menu board.
