The Beak and Barrel Confirmed to Be Open for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

A recent update to the Walt Disney World website has confirmed that The Beak and Barrel will be open during nights with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

As announced earlier today, The Beak and Barrel at Magic Kingdom is officially set to open on  Friday, August 29, 2025. Reservations will open on August 14 via both the Walt Disney World website and the My Disney Experience app.

Following the announcement, Disney has updated the webpages for The Beak and Barrel to specifically mention Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, confirming it will be open during those event nights.

The webpage for The Beak and Barrel includes a subsection specifically talking about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. A paragraph on the page now reads, “Plus, savor snacks and refreshments at The Beak and Barrel when it opens later this year.”

However, it is important to note that there are a few party dates that take place in early August, and it has not yet been confirmed that The Beak and Barrel will open earlier for these events, or remain closed for all parties prior to August 29. Interestingly, the webpage does not address the disparity in dates and lists the full information for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which begins on August 15.

While the webpage for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is now live, it has not yet been changed to reflect the opening of The Beak and Barrel. A note on the page for the pirate tavern encourages guests to “check back in September 2025” for details on dining there during the Christmas parties.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will run on select nights from August 15 through October 31. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will run on select nights from November 7 to December 21, 2025.
