We Tried Twisted Tater Tacos, Birthday Cake Cookie, Cocktails, and More at Premiere House in Universal Horror Unleashed

Inside Universal Horror Unleashed – Las Vegas, guests can dine on horror-themed dishes while enjoying M3GAN performances at Premiere House.

Premiere House Interior

Premiere House is a themed table service restaurant at Universal Horror Unleashed – Las Vegas. The restaurant is themed to characters and icons from Blumhouse films, such as The Purge, Black Phone, and M3GAN.

A modern restaurant in Premier House Las Vegas with diners, purple lighting, a bar, and tempting menu prices.

The interior of the restaurant space has a mixture of traditional tables and bar seating.

People sit at a bar with a purple-lit counter, browsing the Premier House menu in a modern, dimly lit space.

As one important note, guests are highly recommended to either make a Premiere House reservation online using the Universal Horror Unleashed website or to visit the physical location right after entering the building to reserve a table.

Menu

The menu at Premiere House includes a mixture of themed starters, salads, tacos, flatbreads, sliders, and desserts. Read our full menu post for a complete list with prices.

Bread and Starters

Boiler Bread (Vegetarian) – $13

Garlic-herb stuffed pumpernickel roll and fiery smoked paprika cheese sauce

A round loaf of bread with melted cheese beside a yellow cheese dip at Universal Horror Unleashed Premiere House.

This tears easily into four pieces and has a great texture. It is a little dry in the very center, but the topping and cheese sauce are more than enough to solve that problem. The garlic herb over the top is good, but the smoked paprika cheese sauce is to die for (pun not intended). We would buy this and take it home if they sold it.

Pizza Skull – $12

Pepperoni, mozzarella, and marinara sauce

This has a horrible ratio of dough to filling. There is way too much dough and not enough of anything else. The marinara was also very sweet, and not in a good way.

The Crow’s Nest – $15

Bourbon BBQ chicken lollipops, fried rice noodle nest, arugula, and sesame seeds

Two glazed chicken drumettes with sesame seeds, served at Premiere House on greens and crispy noodles, Universal Horror Unleashed.

These are incredibly tender, juicy, and cooked well. The sauce is sticky and clings to the wings well. The BBQ sauce is on the sweeter side rather than smoky, but it complements the fried rice. Our only complaint is that these can be a little messy, and the price is a little high for the size.

Salads

Green Monster (Vegan) – $13

Seasonal greens, black rice, edamame, avocado, cucumber, pumpkin seeds, and green monster dressing

A bowl of green salad with avocado slices and croutons sits on a wooden table at Premiere House.

Up front, we noted that this was a huge salad. The bolt-shaped croutons had a weird, almost metallic taste, but the dressing was very good. Overall, for the portion size and taste, we thought this was great.

Tacos

Churr-aco Tacos– $16

Carne asada, onion, cilantro, grilled jalapeño, and cinnamon sugar tortilla

So good we almost cussed. The cinnamon sugar is very light, offering a subtle churro taste at the end of the bite. The meat is tender and delicious. The salsas were very spicy and likely from a jar.

Funnel’d Shrimp Tacos – $16

Funnel cake fried shrimp, cabbage slaw, and chili aioli

Three loaded tacos with colorful toppings at Premiere House are served on a metal tray, more tacos in the background.

The carnival-inspired tacos madness continues with these funnel cake fried shrimp tacos. The shrimp were so crunchy with batter, it was hard to tell what they actually were. There was a slight shrimp flavor, but the chili aioli was the best part. Overall, these were just very hard to eat.

Popcorn Chicken Tacos – $15

Honey sriracha popcorn chicken, pico de gallo, sour cream, bacon popcorn, and onions

Three tacos with fried chicken, pico de gallo, and sauce served in metal holders at Premiere House.

These were messy and hard to eat, but were very good. There was a very nice spice from the sriracha, and the chicken was crispy but tender. The honey also added a sweetness alongside the smokiness from the bacon popcorn.

Twisted Tater Tacos (Vegan) – $15

Soyrizo, potato, onion, cilantro, and avocado

Three soft shell tacos with crispy toppings, creamy sauces, and green garnishes at Premiere House.

These were spectacular (x2). The soyrizo came across like bacon bits, adding to the overall flavor of an excellent loaded baked potato. Non-vegans would likely not even know the meat was soy.

Desserts

Now Presenting – $14

Birthday cake cookie, Tahitian vanilla icing, rainbow sprinkles, strawberry meringue, raspberry sorbet, and cotton candy drizzle

A dessert plate from We Tried Things: gelato cone, sprinkled crumbs, and a waffle topped with cotton candy and sprinkles.

To celebrate Tom’s birthday, we blew out a fake candle and dug in. The birthday cake cookie was freeze-dried and sturdy. The meringue was the best part. The dish was creative, but it was very basic and forgettable.

Beverages

Holy Water – $19

Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal, 21Seeds Cucumber Jalapeño Tequila, Agave, Lemon Juice, and Passion Fruit Juice

A yellow cocktail in a coupe glass at Premiere House sits by a mosaic candle, capturing Universal Horror Unleashed vibes.

There is a notable warmth from the spices in this drink, but they help to negate the syrupy flavor that can sometimes result from a heavy dose of Mezcal. This is well-balanced and not sticky.

Harvester of Sorrow – $19

Maker’s Mark Bourbon, Jack Daniel’s Fire Whiskey, Apple Purée, and Sparkling Lemonade

A yellow cocktail with a brown sugar rim and dried apple slice, served at Universal Horror Unleashed’s Premiere House.

This is a really good fall-esque drink without being too floral. It has a nice spice from the Fire Whiskey, but it does not overshadow the apple and lemonade flavors.

Rating out of 7: 7

Bloodsucker – $19

Sonrisa Platino Rum, Marie Brizard Blackberry Liqueur, Lime Juice, Simple Syrup, and Ginger Beer

A pink cocktail with ice in a short glass sits on a Premiere House table beside a light yellow drink.

The was very sweet without being overly sticky or sickly. The tartness of the blackberry was very prominent along with the ginger beer. The rum flavor was definitely there, but it was overpowered by the other flavors.

Artificial Intelligence – $19

Empress 1908, Gin, Florente Elderflower Liqueur, Lavender, Lime, and Tonic

A purple cocktail in a glass at Premiere House, garnished with dried citrus, sits on a wooden table among other drinks.

While we are not usually fans of elderflower flavor, it is not overpowering in this drink. This is a very pleasant, juice-forward drink. The tonic water gave it an overall freshness for an easy drink.

Rating out of 7: 5

Graverobber – $19

Cuervo Tradicional Reposado Tequila, Chambord, Guava, and Lime

A pink cocktail with a lime wedge and purple flower, served at Premiere House, on a salt-rimmed glass atop a wooden table.

This tasted like grape jelly and tequila. That’s all we really have to say.

Take a Chance – $12

Ritual Zero Proof Tequila Alternative, Cherry, Cranberry, Raspberry, Lemon, Grenadine, and Club Soda

A red cocktail with raspberries and a red sugar rim at Premiere House, next to other colorful drinks.

This was a weird drink with an almost chocolate taste from the sugary sweetness of the raspberries. Overall, it was a decent, sweet zero-proof drink.
