Pinocchio’s 85th Anniversary

Pinocchio is a classic Disney film, which debuted in 1940.

When Geppetto sees a falling star, he wishes that the puppet he just finished, Pinocchio, could become a real boy. The Night, the Blue Fairy grants Geppetto his wish by asking Jiminy Cricket to become Pinocchio’s conscience. However, Honest John takes him to Pleasure Island where he is led astray. There, he learns right from wrong. Unfortunately, he is killed by Monstro the whale as he tries to save Geppetto. But, good news! In doing so, Pinocchio proved himself to be brave and selfless. Thus, the Blue Fairy turns Pinocchio into a real boy!
