Construction walls currently take up a large swath of floor space in Critter Co-Op, one of the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure-themed shops in Magic Kingdom.

A wooden construction barrier blocks part of a rustic indoor walkway with warm lighting and wood accents.

The construction walls are located in the side of the shop close to the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure entrance. They stand over waist height, but not floor-to-ceiling. The walls may be blocking refurbishment work on the floor.

They are also placed directly in front of the stone fireplace in the center of the room, so crews may be refurbishing the set piece. There was previously a merchandise display in this area, but it has been removed. Built-in merchandise shelves are just barely accessible in the far corner.

One set of entrance doors is completely blocked. The doors are being kept closed and locked for now, though the windows are not covered.

There is scrim laying across the top of the walls, blocking the view of anything behind them.

For comparison, shown below are pictures of this area with and without construction walls.

Critter Co-Op opened in 2024 with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Critter Co-Op replaced Briar Patch, and it is totally separate from Tiana’s Bayou General store at the exit of the ride. Check out the shop’s detailed window displays and most recent merchandise releases.
