Disney’s BoardWalk Inn & Villas Pool Area Refurbishment Announced

The Luna Park Pool, the Luna Park Crazy Play Area, and Leaping Horse Libations at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn & Villas will be closed for routine maintenance in 2027.

The refurbishment will take place from January 11, 2027 to April 2027 and is expected to reopen after everything is complete. The closure will affect the Luna Park Pool, the Luna Park Crazy Play Area, and Leaping Horse Libations which are all located in the same area at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn & Villas.

Guests may see and hear construction during this time.

Luna Park Pool is a carnival-themed pool inspired by a 1920’s amusement park. It features a 200-foot-long waterslide. Luna Park Crazy Play Area is the kiddie pool at the resort with a splash area. It’s located next to the main feature pool but will unavailable during the closure. Alternatively, guests can use the two leisure pools at the resort, which will remain open during the refurbishment.

Nearby, Leaping Horse Libations is whimsical carousel-themed bar located in the same area as Luna Park Pool. You’ll find sandwiches, salads, snacks, and kids’ meals, as well as alcoholic beverages. This will also be closed.
