Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park at Walt Disney World is getting new beach chairs with upgraded textures and new colors.
Typhoon Lagoon New Beach Chairs
We first noticed the appearance of the new chairs on a visit to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park on September 26, 2025. They are already found at most of the beaches across the water park, not just in one area.
The Typhoon Lagoon new beach chairs mostly come in two varieties. There are more standard, lawn-style chairs with shorter seats, as well as lounger-style chairs with the longer seat area and an adjustable back.
The new chairs are all covered in upgraded fabric in shades of light beige. The seat and back are all made of a single piece of fabric, which is solid instead of having gaps. The metal legs and supports of the chairs are painted a slightly darker beige color.
There are a few locations around Typhoon Lagoon that still have the older chairs remaining, though we expect these will be phased out in the near future. The older chair versions had horizontal stripes made of individual straps (likely made of vinyl or a type of rubbery plastic). They were white and dark blue with gaps on the top and bottom.
