Permit Reveals Disney's Grand Floridian Entrance Changes

Disney filed a permit to reconfigure the main entrance of Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and make parking lot changes.

The GF Modification Project C is under application number 250908-56755 with South Florida Water Management District and is currently pending review. The plan proposes updates to the Grand Floridian entrance and parking that connect to the World Drive Phase 3 project. World Drive and other roadways around Magic Kingdom have been undergoing updates to improve traffic flow.

The updated Grand Floridian entrance will connect to two new World Drive roundabouts. Work will also affect the entrance to the Wedding Pavilion and it will get a new driveway entrance. The plan also includes a new employee parking lot.

The permit was filed on September 8, 2025, and there is no timeline for construction yet.
