Reviews

*NEW* Chick-or-Treat Mulita – $12.99

Cheesy blue corn tortilla with refried beans, chicken tinga, crema, cotija cheese, and spicy pickled onions served with tortilla chips

This is one of the best savory seasonal items available right now. The refried beans are very good. There’s a late spicy heat that isn’t overwhelming. It’s a dish of great, well-balanced flavors.

Mickey-shaped Pumpkin Salted Dulce Cream Puff – $8.79

filled with pumpkin mousse and salted dulce de leche

Orange Mickey Mouse-shaped pastry with a colorful sugar skull, served at Disneyland's Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante.

This is a confusing and underwhelming item. The pumpkin mousse has a good consistency but an artificial taste. The salted dulce de leche is good, but there’s too much flavor when mixed with the mousse.

There are white chocolate medallions plugging the holes on the bottom where the mousse and cream were piped in. They add a bit of a crunch, which was a surprise if nothing else. The actual cookie is okay. Overall, it’s good but not great.

*NEW* Hibiscus-Pomegranate Cooler – $7.29

Spiced hibiscus tea, pomegranate and orange juices, and honey

A plastic cup of iced hibiscus tea with lemon sits on a wooden table at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante in Disneyland.

This is very floral. The hibiscus tea is the prominent flavor. The pomegranate and orange juices just add some fruity notes. It feels more like a holiday drink than a Halloween drink — and will appropriately be available through the holidays.

The Chick-or-Treat Mulita and Pumpkin Salted Dulce Cream Puff are available through November 13, 2025. The Hibiscus-Pomegranate Cooler is available through January 7, 2026.
