This has a crispy, sturdy crust. The pasta is a bit crunchy, and the andouille sausage is good. There’s a bit of spice, which hits you late but is not overpowering.

For better or worse, this dish is served cold. The chantilly cream is good, and we liked the apple filling. We wish the streusel weren’t so soft. This is definitely a middle-of-the-road treat.

This tastes like coffee, but it feels like a dessert because it’s frozen and layered with condensed milk. It reminds us of a classic flavored frappuccino. There are hints of vanilla. It’s refreshing and well-balanced, so the majority of coffee drinkers will enjoy.

Keep in mind, however, the machine at BoardWalk Pizza & Pasta has been temperamental, so it was a few days before we were able to get this drink. Don’t be surprised if it continues to have issues.
