Disney is marking 95 years of Pluto with vintage-style clothing, now available at Disneyland Resort. Mickey’s best friend was first introduced as an unnamed dog in The Chain Gang, an animated short released on September 5, 1930. He returned with the name Rover in The Picnic, released on October 9, 1930, but made his first appearance as Pluto in The Moose Hunt, released on April 30, 1931.

Pluto Cardigan – $84.99
This cardigan is dark blue with white trim around the V-shaped neckline, buttons, hem, and cuffs. The buttons are also blue. A white Pluto appliqué is on the left chest.
Pluto is pictured on the back in an intarsia design. His name is above him and “The Pup” is below.
Pluto Short-Sleeved Button-Up – $74.99
This short-sleeved shirt has gray pin-striping, white buttons, and a notched collar. A zip pocket is on the left chest. “Pluto – I’m A Dog, It’s In My Nature” is embroidered above the pocket. On the other side of the chest are Pluto-inspired patches.
Pluto AOP T-Shirt – $39.99
This tee is burgundy with an all-over black and white pattern of Pluto.
Pluto Pullover Sweatshirt – $69.99
The sweatshirt features large comic and poster-style images of Pluto. A Pluto appliqué is in the center chest and his name is in green across the back. The neck, cuffs, and hem are all solid yellow.
Pluto Pullover Hoodie – $79.99
This is a distressed dark blue with light blue-gray cuffs, hem, and hood. “Disney Cartoon Presents Walt Disney’s Pluto The Pup A Walt Disney Comic” is in white and black embroidered text across the chest. A Pluto label on the kangaroo pocket reads, “He melts your heart since 1930”.
Pluto Jacket – $89.99
This is an army green button-up jacket with two large front pockets. The right chest features a white dog tag patch and “The Pup.” A fuzzy white “P” is on the left chest with “Pluto” and “1930”. A Pluto label is on the left pocket. On the back is an image of with “Loyal Since 1930” embroidered around him.
Pluto Baseball Jersey – $79.99
This is a white and gray striped jersey with red piping trim and buttons. “Pluto” is across the chest in red and yellow letters. “1930” is embroidered on the right chest and “The Pup” and a yellow dog tag patch are on the left. A large red “30” with yellow trim is on the back with “America’s Top Dog”.
Pluto Youth Baseball Jersey – $31.99
The youth jersey is nearly identical to the adult jersey but without “1930” on the chest.
Pluto Youth Varsity Jacket – $79.99
The youth jacket is red with heather gray sleeves and a heather gray hood. It has red and white striped ribbed trim on the cuffs and hem. “He melts your heart,” “Since ’30,” “The Pup” and “Pluto” are all embroidered on the chest along with an appliqué of Pluto. It has silver buttons and two front pockets. On the back is Pluto’s face, a dog tag, “Puppy Love”, and “ESTD ’30.”
Pluto Youth T-Shirt – $31.99
Kids get a heather gray tee with red sleeves and a blue crew neck.
The youth tee is heather gray with short red sleeves and a dark blue crew neck. A large white Pluto appliqué is on the chest, and a label is above the hem.
Pluto Plush – $39.99
Last but certainly not least is a plush of the pup himself by Charlotte Clark. The corduroy-style fabric lends itself to that retro style, and he has a Pluto 95 label on his back.
