Water Fountain Feature

A covered stone water feature graces a sunny courtyard near Pinocchio Village Haus in Magic Kingdom.

There is a large stone water fountain as you approach the entrance to Pinocchio Village Haus. However, during our visit to Magic Kingdom on September 6th, we noticed the water feature has been turned off.

Not only is the water not running, but the bottom half of the fountain is covered in white scrim. We are unsure what exactly is happening, but it’s clear Disney is planning to do some work on the water fountain.

Above is a before and after image comparison, showing the fountain prior to the addition of the scrim and as it stands currently.

Pinocchio Village Haus

Pinocchio Village Haus is a quick-service restaurant located in Fantasyland. It’s inspired by classic Disney film Pinocchio and serves traditional Italian quick-service fare, like various flatbreads, a chicken parmesan sandwich, and caesar salad.

Sit outside under the umbrellas or inside the quaint cottage-style seating area. You’ll be able to look down and see guests riding “it’s a small world” as you eat.

Late last year, the restrooms located between the Pinocchio-themed restaurant and a castle wall reopened after a lengthy refurbishment.
