The time has come for the Cairo Spiny Mouse to be retired from the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

This spiny friend was showing signs of labored breathing, and it was decided that he would retire to Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

Spiny mice usually have a life expectancy of two years, and he is over four years old. His habitat is currently covered with a beige tarp.
