Crews have added more structural elements to the two new ride buildings at Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure.
Avengers Campus Construction
As Walt Disney Imagineering shared on social media this week, there is now a white framework connecting the two attraction buildings. Imagineering described this as a canopy.
More framing yet to be installed is visible on the ground behind construction walls.
Concept art indicates this canopy will actually partially cover the Stark Flight Lab attraction. The canopy will get a roof, but the white beams will remain exposed.
There aren’t many changes to the larger building since our October update. This will house Avengers: Infinity Defense, a 3D attraction expected to use the same system as Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure at Tokyo DisneySea.
Eventually, this area will be its entrance.
The Stark Flight Lab entrance building is relatively small. It’s closer to the construction walls and the current Avengers Campus footprint. The land will almost double in size with the addition of these rides.
