Full Guide to 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

  • The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays has returned for 2024 and runs from November 28 through December 30. From the festival kitchens and cookie stroll to entertainment, merchandise, and more, we’ve put together a full guide to help you plan your time at EPCOT this holiday season.

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Decorations

The park has decked its halls for the festive season, with a sign at the entrance and flats designed to look like lit candles. Other decorations include banners, Christmas trees, and more.

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Festival Passport

Navigate the festival with a festival passport, available for pick-up throughout EPCOT, including at the entrance. This year’s festival passport includes “Fun For Kids of All Ages,” festival merchandise, entertainment, and Holiday Kitchen menus.

    Entertainment, Attractions, & Activities

    Candlelight Processional

The famous Candlelight Processional is a tradition that’s performed each night of the festival. New celebrity narrators this year include Constance Wu, Henry Winkler, Brie Larson, and Sheryl Lee Ralph. The celebrity narrator tells the story of Christmas accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra, the Voices of Liberty, and a choir of Cast Members and community singers. See this year’s full list of celebrity narrators.

Susan Egan replaced Jennifer Garner for December 3-4 dates.

Showtimes are 5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:15 p.m. EST nightly at the America Gardens Theatre. Seating is first come, first served but guests with a Candlelight Processional Dining Package will have guaranteed seats.

Watch our video of the first 2024 Candlelight Processional performance featuring Disney Legend Josh Gad below:

Joyful! A Celebration of the Season

A live performance on an outdoor stage with a "Joyful" sign and scheduled showtimes captivates festival of the holidays goers. Seven performers, dressed in red and black attire, bring cheer amidst poinsettias and festive holiday motifs.

Celebrate Christmas and Kwanzaa with Gospel, R&B, and holiday tuned as performed by this vocal ensemble for “Joyful! A Celebration of the Season.” This group performs multiple times per day during the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays at the CommuniCore Plaza Stage. Showtimes are 2:00 PM, 3:05 PM, 4:05 PM and 5:10 PM.

Santa Claus Meet & Greet in CommuniCore Hall

Santa Claus Meet and Greet, Spaceship Earth Gingerbread Display in CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT

CommuniCore Hall is decked out for the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, including the Spaceship Earth gingerbread display and Santa Claus meet and greet. The latter has moved from The Odyssey pavilion, where Santa Goofy will meet this year.

Returing for 2025 is the Gingerbread Spaceship Earth display, which can also be found inside CommuniCore Hall. Just like the real thing outside, this geodesic sphere lights up to a short music show periodically.

Meet Santa Goofy in The Odyssey

Disney has decked out the Odyssey with festive decor for the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, including a meet and greet with Santa Goofy and the Glittering Grove “forest.” The latter was moved from Communicore Hall, where Santa Claus himself is meeting this year.

    glittering grove 2

Sponsored by Balsam Hill, Glittering Grove lies “far from the hustle of the bustling city with trees oh-so-pretty” inside The Odyssey. The Grove this year doubles partially as the queue for the Santa Goofy meet and greet.

Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses

Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses has returned for the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. This seasonal overlay sees holiday decorations and lights taking over the ride’s greenhouses. A Behind the Seeds tour specifically for this overlay returned this year, as well.

Journey into Imagination With Figment’s Holiday Sweater

Figment is once again dressed in his Christmas sweater on Journey Into Imagination with Figment at EPCOT in celebration of the 2025 International Festival of the Holidays. Though not an overlay in the traditional sense, Figment donning his Imagination! pavilion holiday sweater aboard Journey Into Imagination with Figment is an annual offering you won’t want to miss.

Watch our video of Journey Into Imagination with Figment below to see the iconic purple dragon in his holiday sweater.

Figment Holiday Sweater Meet & Greet

For the first time, Figment is also wearing his holiday sweater for his meet and greet at EPCOT. Strangely, however, the sweater is not the same as the one he wears on Journey Into Imagination. Figment will be wearing his sweater for the duration of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt

Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition scavenger hunt is back for 2025 at the Festival of the Holidays, this time with new locations and prizes to earn. To play, guests simply purchase the map and mark off the location of each hidden Olaf statue around World Showcase with the included stickers.

This year’s prizes are Frozen 2-themed plates. Different designs include one with Anna and Elsa, one with Sven and Kristoff, and one with just Olaf. You don’t have to actually complete the activity to redeem it for a prize, but each map can only be turned in once at Disney Traders, Creations Shop, or World Traveler.

Scentsy’s Festive Fragrances: A Sensory Wonderland

Returning for this year’s Festival of the Holidays is the Festive Fragrances garden, presented by Scentsy. This garden is located along the walkway between the Imagination! pavilion and World Showcase. It consists of four ornament-shaped displays, each offering different holiday scents. This year’s scents include Christmas Cottage, Sleigh Ride, Silver Bells, and Perfect Peppermint.
