Instead of a handful of large pools like other Disney Cruise Line ships, the Disney Destiny has several smaller pools scattered across the upper decks, plus the Toy Story Splash Zone and Slide-a-saurus Rex.
Disney Destiny Pools
Pools for All Ages
Fun in the sun meets snoozing in the shade on the upper decks of the Disney Destiny, home to 10 pools and water play areas inspired by Mickey Mouse and his pals. Toy around at Toy Story Splash Zone, featuring larger-than-life rubber bath toys and the Slide-a-saurus Rex family slide.

There are several small pools instead of one larger one on the Disney Destiny.

Mickey’s Pool is located on Deck 11, Midship. The pool is built into the stage. It is located in the center of the photo above, but was covered when we photographed it. Rules are posted nearby, as well as an outdoor area to rinse off.

Pictured above is the back of the Funnel Vision screen.

There are plenty of lounge chairs in the main pool area.

There is also a stage for the dance parties. Crew members cover Mickey’s Pool as needed.

Life jackets are available in a variety of sizes.

Minnie’s Pool is across the deck and is covered to create more standing room on the deck above.

The smaller pools on elevated platforms of Deck 11, Aft are Daisy’s Pool and Pluto’s Pool.

Donald’s Pool and Goofy’s Pool are just above them on Deck 12, Aft.

Beverage stations are located nearby.

Chip ‘n Dale’s Pool is on Deck 14, Forward. They are between the Hero and Incredibles suites.

Currents, a bar, is located nearby.

Be sure to take in all the fun details!

Quiet Cove Pool (Adults Only)

On Deck 13, Aft is the adults-only Quiet Cove Pool and Quiet Cove Whirlpool.

There is seating near the edge so adults can enjoy the view.

Lounge seats are also available for even more comfort.

The pool is right against the bow of the ship, offering a view of the ocean or islands that the ship is docked at.
Toy Story Splash Zone

The Toy Story Splash Zone and Slide-a-saurus Rex are on Deck 12, Forward of the Disney Destiny.

There is no lifeguard on duty at the splash zone, which is only for use of children up to six years old. Children must have adult supervision at all times when in the play area.
The splash zone has some small slides and fun water features.

There are giant figures of the main Toy Story characters, but they are depicted as bubble blowers and bath toys instead of the standard action figures and dolls.

On one end of the splash zone is a Pizza Planet-inspired slide, next to an Alien “rubber duck.”

Young guests will climb up the purple stairs and slide down the orange slide.

Trixie Falls Pool and Wheezy’s Freezies are also nearby.
Slide-a-saurus Rex

Slide-a-saurus Rex, a reference to the Toy Story Toons short “Partysaurus Rex,” is just outside the splash zone. It has a 38″ height requirement and no height maximum, so adults can enjoy it, too.

A figure of Rex wearing a Viking helmet and peace sign necklace is at the end of the slide.

A sign has the rules, as well as the current posted wait time.
