Palo Steakhouse and Brunch Return to the Disney Destiny

Both Palo Steakhouse and Palo Brunch have returned to the Disney Destiny, and we took a look inside. The upscale adult-only dining venue is inspired by Beauty and the Beast.

Palo Steakhouse

Inspired by Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast, this adult-exclusive restaurant strikes a balance between time-honored Italian fare and modern steakhouse dining.

Palo serves Italian dishes, as well as steaks including Australian wagyu, Japanese Kobe, and Miyazaki beef. For dessert, try  Palo chocolate soufflé. It is prepared fresh-to-order and served hot with vanilla bean and chocolate sauces.

Guests are allowed to make two dinner reservations at Palo Steakhouse during their cruise, as long as one of those reservations is on the first night of the cruise.

For a more intimate experience, guests can request a reservation in the private dining room, which includes a prix fixe and a la carte menus for up to 12 guests.

In addition to dinner service, Palo also offers brunch. It is offered on most sea days, but be sure to check the DCL Navigator app for dates and times while on board. Reservations can be made within your booking window before boarding or once on the ship.

The venue itself is a palette of woods and metals, along with artwork and other details that evoke ornate clocks, pendulums and gears.

Guests can look out the floor-to-ceiling windows for panoramic views.

The nearby Enchante and The Rose Lounge are all upscale adult-only dining venues that also gain inspiration from Beauty and the Beast.

A variety of seating configurations include semi-private booths, tables and chairs, and regular booth seating. Plush and comfortable seats come in beige, red, and brown colors. Bronze and wood tables in different shapes create a mismatched but cohesive look to the space.

The carpet is a deep burgundy color with a swirl pattern. The walls are heather gray wood with gold lines and circles. Like in The Rose lounge, gold panels on the walls feature an arabesque pattern including rose cutouts.
