For a limited time, Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies at Magic Kingdom is serving the new year’s-themed Happy “Root Beer” Float. It will be available through January 3.
Happy “Root Beer” Float – $7.59
Root Beer with Vanilla Soft-serve, Chocolate Cookie Biscuit “Sparkler,” and Shimmery Sprinkles
Although the float is supposed to have a Chocolate Cookie Biscuit “Sparkler,” Auntie Gravity’s doesn’t have these in stock yet, so ours was missing the decoration.
It’s still a pretty float (until it starts to melt) thanks to the silver, gold, and black sprinkles. The black sprinkles, however, may give you some Dalmatian spots.
The float is topped with a large serving of vanilla ice cream with bubbling root beer at the bottom. It tastes like a classic root beer float. It’s festive without changing the flavors.
It’s not anything spectacular, but we liked it. It’s a fun twist on a classic treat.
