Crews have removed the PizzeRizzo billboard from the former Muppets Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
PizzeRizzo Billboard Removed

The billboard was atop the green outdoor seating structure. There’s now nothing except a base on the roof.

Below is what the billboard looked like.
It featured Rizzo holding a pizza next to the text “The City’s Top Rated Pizza.” The artwork and lettering were outlined with flashing neon lights. A flashing arrow was on the side, pointing towards the entrance.

We saw crew members in a lift working on the exterior wall of the courtyard’s restrooms, a.k.a. Gonzo’s Royal Flush, which is attached to the PizzeRizzo building. The crew members appeared to be scrubbing at something around a vent. The Gonzo’s Royal Flush sign also recently came down.

PizzeRizzo & Monstropolis
The pizza quick-service restaurant began its life as Toy Story Pizza Planet Arcade. It was re-themed to PizzeRizzo (a play on the word “pizzeria”) in 2016. It closed with the rest of Muppets Courtyard, including MuppetVision 3D, in June 2025.
The space will be reimagined into Monstropolis from Monsters, Inc. The PizzeRizzo building is expected to remain and become a new quick-service venue. Concept art does not indicate what the building’s new theme will be.
The MuppetVision 3D theater and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano will also be re-themed. Crews have been removing themed elements from the theater. Though we don’t know what will be in the theater, concept art indicates it will be named The Glob. Mama Melrose’s will become Harryhausen’s, a restaurant featured in the first Monsters, Inc. film.
The land’s E-ticket attraction will be a roller-coaster through the Monsters, Inc. door vault. It will be Disney’s first suspended and first vertical lift coaster. It’s under construction in a former parking lot outside the bounds of Muppets Courtyard.
