Santa Duffy has been meeting and greeting in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Christmas Day for the last several years. This year, however, the popular bear character has been suddenly replaced with Santa Goofy with no prior announcement.

Santa Goofy Meeting at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Christmas Day 2025, Santa Goofy is meeting in Walt Disney Presents. This is the location that Santa Duffy met in during this year’s Jollywood Nights and where Santa Duffy was expected to meet today.

There was no prior announcement of the character change; our reporter said that there were even guests dressed in Duffy merchandise ready to meet him.

Santa Goofy is also meeting in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and at EPCOT, while Santa Stitch is meeting in Magic Kingdom.
