At EPCOT and Disney California Adventure, “Soarin’ Across America” will debut with all-new scenic vistas across the United States as part of “Disney Celebrates America” for the country’s 250th anniversary, but it will first debut at The Walt Disney World attraction.
Soarin’ Across America

The new version of Soarin’ will open at Walt Disney World by Memorial Day 2026, over a month earlier than Disneyland Resort. The Disney California Adventure version will officially debut July 2, 2026.
This new adventure will showcase the United States from sea to shining sea, highlighting some of the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes. Like other versions of Soarin’, it will include a special score and scents.

Walt Disney Imagineering is filming more than a dozen breathtaking locations for the overlay. Watch flight attendant Patrick (Patrick Warburton) announce the flight below.
According to Patrick, Soarin’ Across America will run for a limited time.
Soarin’
Soarin’ is a flight motion simulator at multiple Disney Parks. The original was Soarin’ Over California, an opening day attraction at Disney California Adventure in 2001. It opened at EPCOT in The Land pavilion in 2005.
Soaring Over the Horizon opened with Shanghai Disneyland in June 2016 as the first version of Soarin’ Around the World. Versions of this film soon after opened at Disney California Adventure and EPCOT. A fourth version, Soaring: Fantastic Flight, opened at Tokyo DisneySea in 2019.
Soarin’ Over California has returned to Disney California Adventure for the annual Food & Wine Festival. It returned to EPCOT in 2023 for the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company.
The infamous curved Eiffel Tower was fixed on the Disney California Adventure and EPCOT versions of the ride this year. The EPCOT version also got an updated finale with the park’s new World Celebration area. Soaring Over the Horizon at Shanghai Disneyland will get a new finale soon as well.
